Power Platform Developer

The Opportunity:

As a Power Platform Developer, you can understand client needs and translate those into applications that optimize their day-to-day work and operations. We’re looking for an experienced engineer like you to support the management of low-code development platforms from vision to production-ready, solving our clients’ most complex challenges.

As a Power Platform Developer at Booz Allen, you’ll develop applications for our clients using an iterative feedback driven approach. You’ll use the latest tools as you look for ways to support your team and develop creative solutions. Using your technical knowledge and appetite to learn, you’ll work cross-collaboratively to build out solutions that quickly and effectively solve problems. You’ll be a trusted advisor to your clients as you translate their needs and future goals into a plan by crafting flow diagrams, design documents, and sustainment documentation.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience developing custom end-to-end solutions using Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Experience working with web development tools and languages, including JavaScript, JSON, HTML5, XML, CSS3, or XSL
  • Experience visualizing data to identify or communicate key insights
  • Experience documenting improvements to business processes, workflows, and analytics.
  • Experience building and maintaining client relationships through clear and effective communication
  • Knowledge of database design principles and development of tables, functions, stored procedures, views, and indexes
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience with SharePoint or Power Platform, or 3+ years of experience with SharePoint or Power Platform development in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the DoD, especially USMC
  • Experience with O365 and MCEN
  • Experience with process improvement approaches and methodologies, including Business Process Reengineering, Agile, or Continuous Process Improvement
  • Experience analyzing and managing data, including data visualization, data management, data governance, data strategy, data policy, or data engineering
  • Experience crafting custom Power BI visualizations to answer questions and solve problems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Query, Databricks, and Microsoft Dataverse
  • Ability to synthesize results and deliver presentations to product owners or stakeholders
  • Ability to use written and verbal communication for formal documentation of efforts, customer engagement, and to present complex technical solutions to non-technical staff or customers
  • Microsoft Certification, including Power Platform Certification, or DoD IAT Level II Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
