Job Description
Key Role:
Assist with the execution and administration of the Information and Personnel Security Program (IPSP), including implementing U.S. government security policies and procedures in accordance with DoD, Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) orders. Manage and maintain personnel check-in and check-out processes and packages for command personnel. Review security program systems to validate security clearance eligibility and issue accesses, facilitate and track visitor access requests for incoming and outgoing personnel to the command, and communicate directly with the DoD, as required. Assist the SMO with implementing and monitoring information security policies, including the marking, safeguarding, proper handling, and destruction of classified military information. Administer personnel access controls and badge issuance for permanent command personnel that have been properly checked in and possess need-to-know criteria.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with administrative support, including maintaining sensitive personnel records
Knowledge of DISS, eQIP, or NBIS
Knowledge of Information and Personnel Security DoD directives, SECNAVINST, and USMC orders
Ability to interpret and communicate established corporate and facility security policies and procedures to employees
Ability to take direction and tasks from SMO personnel
Ability to operate copy machines, networked computers, scanners, shredders, and access control systems
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to be detail-oriented, motivated, and professional
Ability to be flexible to move from one task to another and be available for a variety of tasks
Ability to obtain USMC Security Management Course Certification within 180 days of hire date
Completion of CDSE STEPP Courses, including Introduction to Industrial Security (ISO11.16), Introduction to Personnel Security (PS113.16), Introduction to Information Security (IF011.16), Introduction to Physical Security (PY011.16), Derivative Classification (IF103.16), and Unauthorized Disclosure of Classified Information and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) IF130.16 within 90 days of start date
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
