Talent Intelligence Analyst

Key Role:

Play a critical role in enhancing enterprise-wide talent intelligence and workforce comprehension. Utilize your expertise in data to identify key indicators and trends, analyze issues, and create solutions that contribute to Booz Allen's growth. Deliver executive-level insights and support the creation and upkeep of tools and models to enhance our understanding of the workforce. Establish standard metrics and terminology and conduct comprehensive data analysis to derive and share valuable insights related to our workforce, business operations, and hiring and development trends. Examine talent and operational data for talent processes, generate insights on trends and opportunities, and facilitate continuous improvements. Conduct program assessments and assist in designing and measuring outcomes from pilot programs. Develop, prepare, and maintain performance scorecards and capacity models.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience utilizing data to analyze operations, identify challenges, and develop solutions for large enterprise-level activities 

  • 1+ years of experience in data visualization and storytelling

  • Experience operating in an agile, iterative environment alongside senior leaders and stakeholders 

  • Knowledge of the analytics maturity model, data strategy, and data governance 

  • Ability to take best practices or trends and recommend and implement impactful metrics to improve business performance 

  • Ability to create advanced data models, pivot tables, formulas, and macros using Excel  

Additional Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience using programming languages, including Python, R, SQL, or analytical tools for data manipulation and analysis 

  • Experience with data visualization tools

  • Experience accessing and analyzing data from shared environments, such as Databricks

  • Experience with Power Platform products, such as Power Automate and Power Apps

  • Experience in workforce or HR analytics

  • Experience analyzing and reporting sensitive data 

  • Knowledge of data tables, data warehouses, and querying databases to extract relevant information efficiently

  • Ability to take initiative and work as a self-starter and pay attention to detail

  • Possession of excellent presentation skills for conveying complex information to non-technical audiences

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
