Cloud Security Integration Engineer, Senior

The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a Cloud Engineer, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve national security? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of the U.S. Government's toughest problems.


On our team, you’ll design and integrate cloud-based applications to support mission-critical operations. You'll use the latest cloud technologies to improve enterprise capabilities for risk management and continuous monitoring and will ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. You’ll be part of a team leading solution deployment, applying best practices, and driving high-visibility solutions. Additionally, you’ll broaden your skill set in areas like automation, enterprise, and cloud-based security.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience designing, testing, and deploying operating systems to various physical, virtual, container, and cloud environments

  • 3+ years of experience as Cloud Engineer or Architect in Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • 1+ years of experience with AWS security and implementing secure design principles

  • Experience leading teams and implementing industry best practices and frameworks

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) or ICD 503

  • Experience with automated CI/CD platforms

  • Experience as ISSE/ISSM

  • Experience with operating systems, platforms, and technologies, including Windows, Linux, cloud, and virtualization

  • Knowledge of customer IT systems, requirements, and processes for information assurance, assessment, and authorization activities

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:  

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
