As a Range Operations Specialist, you’ll bring your technical background to collaborate with leaders in Range and Training Area Management on projects for Joint and Bilateral training. You’ll use your skills as you analyze, assess, and communicate critical, real-time information for the DoD and Host Nation training. You Have:
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing comprehensive risk mitigation strategies to ensure the prevention of accidents during range operations and activities
- 3+ years of experience developing and delivering safety briefings and specialized training programs to range personnel and participants, promoting awareness and compliance
- 1+ years of experience compiling and maintaining records of safety incidents, inspection findings, and regulatory compliance reports
- Experience revising and enhancing range policies and procedures, including integrating regulatory updates and lessons learned from incident analyses
- Experience facilitating structured pre- and post-exercise debriefings to address safety considerations and implement process improvements
- Knowledge of how to strategically organize and coordinate range schedules to optimize resource utilization and prevent scheduling conflicts during training exercises
- Knowledge of safety protocols to be adhered to among all range participants, including mitigating risks during operations and exercises
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Knowledge of military training operations, including ordnance, weapon delivery profiles, weapon systems, and military tactics and procedures with a focus on large-scale joint and bilateral military exercises
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
