Ground Combat Element Readiness Analyst

Key Role:

Conduct operational analysis to evaluate unit readiness using the Network Unit Status Report–Marine Corps (NetUSR-MC), Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS), and the Joint Training Tool (JTT). Evaluate the effectiveness and value of training and readiness based on task performance and established Training and Readiness (T&R) standards, identifying any gaps or areas for improvement. Facilitate and participate in monthly DRRS readiness briefings and other related meetings, providing updates, analysis of subordinate element reports, and recommendations for approval during the review process. Assist with Commanding General Readiness Inspections (CGRIs) for Major Subordinate Elements (MSEs) and coordinate with higher and subordinate headquarters to provide DRRS training as required. Provide updates on current readiness trends, training standard gaps down to the unit employment level, and forecasted readiness based on current and projected budget constraints to support Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and Training, Exercise, and Employment Plan (TEEP) conferences. Develop briefs, recommend solutions to critical readiness issues and force design and optimization, and participate in Mission Essential Task List (METL) reviews and Program of Record (PoR) assessments. Propose training updates and readiness recommendations to ensure units maintain and improve operational effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with military training and readiness requirements in relation to Marine Corps Mission Essential Tasks (METs) and Training and Readiness (T&R) Manual

  • Experience with the Commanding Generals Readiness Inspection (CGRI) process

  • Knowledge of Network Unit Status Report-Marine Corps (NetUSR-MC) and Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS)

  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS)

  • Knowledge of the Joint Training Tool (JTT)

  • Ability to use MS Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to build products and brief senior level decision makers

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with NetUSR-MC and DRRS

  • 1+ years of experience with MCTIMS

  • 1+ years of experience with the JTT

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
