The Opportunity:
As an operations research analyst (ORSA), you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need a seasoned research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our CENTCOM Analysis and Plans team, you’ll lead the evaluation of data assessment strategies such as mathematical and statistical modeling, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis, and decision support analytics processes to deliver solutions.
You won’t go at it alone, you’ll lead a technical team of contractor analysts, including other ORSAs, Data Engineers, as well as a Software Developer and a DevSecOps analyst to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and tailor quantitative and qualitative analysis to a broad range of complex military problems by designing, developing, and applying techniques such as probability models, statistical inference, simulations, and optimization and economic models. Once documented, you’ll oversee the development of information displays, decision briefings, analytical papers, and will facilitate senior leader discussions to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and hold various program meetings to improve program efficiency.
In this role, you’ll share your passion for analytics and statistics to devise modeling and measuring techniques using mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.

You Have:
10+ years of experience with Operations Research Analysis (ORSA), Data Science, or Mathematic or Analytic Methodologies
Experience with developing analytic methodologies, metrics, and decision criteria
Experience with leveraging scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses
Experience with using automated statistical packages in support of analysis projects
Experience with preparing and presenting senior leadership briefings and papers
Experience with R, Python, or SQL, and a LLM such as ChatGPT or a data analysis software program
Experience collaborating with analysts in an integrated development environment
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility
Experience in decision models, code repositories, wargaming, simulation, resource allocation, survey design or analysis and interview techniques, data or information management, nodal or flow modeling, cost or benefit analysis, trending and forecasting, or geospatial analysis
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
