Budget Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Apply expertise in monitoring funds, creating financial reports, and analyzing the management of appropriated funds. Provide consulting services to the Army that translate information aiding with the analysis of budget formulation, financial management and analysis, account reconciliation, and operational accounting support. Work on the analysis of models to aid clients in the preparation of operating budgets for units or departments based on actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other factors. Perform analytical services for expenses, inventories, vouchers, and budget balances. Provide cost effective, insightful reporting to decision makers regarding the analysis and tracking of obligations and the expenditure of funds. Identify, gather, and analyze information around requirements and processes and provide analysis that incorporates federal regulations and agency specific policies. This position is located in Aberdeen, MD.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with budget analysis, planning, programming, and execution in civil defense
-Experience with government budget and accounting regulations and systems, such as SOMARDS, ABIDES, RAPIDS, CRIS, ABSS, or DTS
-Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access
-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with ULO, NLO, GFEBs SA, or GFEBs

-Top Secret clearance
-MS degree
