Technical Writer, Senior

Key Role:

Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Military technical writing

  • 5+ years of experience in training material verification and edits

  • Experience with Advanced Adobe Acrobat, Frame Maker, and Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of Army training and technical writing standards

  • Knowledge of U.S. Army logistics    

  • Knowledge of MIL-STD 40051, MIL-HDBK 1222, and Extensible Markup Language

  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

  • Ability to manage multiple technical publications programs for complex weapon systems

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Master's degree

Clearance:
