Bill of Materials Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Validate and maintain material data on Bills of Materials (BOMs) in legacy military systems, including product structures, National Item Identification Number (NIIN) and Local Stock Numbers (LSNs), quantities per assembly, repair and replacement factors, and other information as required in accordance with operating procedures, directives, and contractual agreements. Collect, organize, interpret, manage, and filter data into usable information. Prepare ad hoc and other reports, spreadsheets, and presentations. Conduct research and maintain the integrity of data. Develop and maintain databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other analysis tools in Excel and Access to optimize statistical efficiency and quality of logistics information. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets and other information.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with working in military equipment, industrial processes, and material engineering data
  • Knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Excel and Access to build and populate spreadsheets and databases
  • Ability to create queries, spreadsheets, databases reports, and presentations
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
  • BA or BS degree or 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment with industry-standard tools in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with military logistics
  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with internal and client stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to build strong, client-focused working relationships
