Aircraft Electrical Engineer, Senior

The Challenge:

As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to helping our client maintain our strategic deterrent. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to evaluate and analyze systems designs to ensure that weapons systems will operate as designed.

That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, to evaluate aircraft modification that includes integration of a new system into the existing design. You’ll directly impact the nuclear deterrent mission by teaming with the client and evaluate, analyze and advise the client concerning multiple weapons systems. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in while broadening your skillset into other areas. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as an electrical engineer

  • Knowledge of aircraft electrical systems and Air Force Instructions and Manuals

  • Ability to leverage electrical engineering expertise to analyze and evaluate integrated weapons systems

  • Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Knowledge of DoD and DoE acquisition processes, policies and procedures

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • MA or MS degree in electrical engineering

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
