Control Systems Engineer

As a Control Systems Engineer on our team, you have the chance to design, model, and analyze control systems for experimentation to examine control components in support of the Directed Energy Experimentation Campaign. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize mechanical slew rate, optical tracking, and more. You’ll develop your skills while gaining experience in the Test and Evaluation. You Have:

  • Experience with modeling systems and system of system construct at various levels to gain an understanding of system lifecycles

  • Knowledge of mission and campaign level system of systems constructs

  • Ability to work with various software including AFSIM

  • Secret clearance

  • Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree ​by Summer 2021

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with predictive analytics of system performance

  • Knowledge of integrating simulations in a DIS interface

  • Ability to train others in various software programs, including AFSIM

  • BS degree in mechanical engineering

  • TS clearance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
