Nuclear Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:
Work as a nuclear weapons systems professional leveraging expertise to assist with nuclear-related modeling and simulation projects. Maintain responsibility for providing nuclear subject matter expertise and requirements support to an Air Force client across all nuclear sustainment, life-extension, and acquisitions programs and systems. Assist with requirements through testing processes for models and simulations and contribute to critical thinking processes. Engage with a wide range of audiences ranging from novice to expert. Provide subject matter expertise to build talking papers, point papers, and Microsoft PowerPoint briefings and maintain a high-quality deliverable to the client focusing on nuclear certification or effects. Lead, participate, and represent in senior-level meetings, technical interchange meetings, and program reviews.

Basic Qualifications: 
-8+ years of experience with nuclear weapons
-Experience with nuclear surety, certification, or effects
-Experience with supporting DoD programs

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with modeling and simulation, including requirements and development of tools

-Experience with weapons system survivability analyses

-Top Secret clearance preferred

Clearance:
