Contractor Special Security Officer, Lead

Key Role:

Manage the industrial security program and security activities at the facility, ensuring compliance with Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD government and company security policies, requirements, and procedures maintaining the overall accreditation posture. Review and investigate non-compliance issues. Provide security advice, guidance, and recommendations to all levels of client-facing staff. Manage program and administrative activities regarding security clearances for the organization's employees and advise management and personnel on related issues. Assist with ad hoc proposal security volume reviews. Coordinate security support for compartmented or special access programs, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) or Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)

-Experience with IC and DoD security policies, including National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD)

-Knowledge of personnel and physical security policies and regulations, including ICD 705 and ICD 704

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting SCI programs

​-Experience with applying tailored, responsive multi-disciplined security support, including personnel, physical, technical, operational, and information security aimed at the protection of corporate and client personnel, information, facilities, programs, and capabilities

-Knowledge of contract and acquisition security practices

-Ability to analyze complex problems, develop and articulate focused solutions, and take independent action in an often-ambiguous work environment

-Ability to provide constructive, tactful, and discrete security advice and guidance to personnel across all levels, including senior managers, peers, subordinates, and customers

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
