Terrestrial Communications Acquisition Portfolio Analyst, Senior

The Challenge:

​Provide technical, engineering, acquisition, and programmatic expertise to support acquisition oversight of nuclear command, control, and communications (NC3) portfolio programs, projects, and activities for a DoD client. Apply systems engineering expertise to evaluate portfolio risk across cost, schedule, and performance baselines with an emphasis on terrestrial communications and data transport systems. Enable senior-level acquisition decisions to ensure efficient delivery of capability to the warfighter.

You Have:

  • Experience with working as an acquisition analyst or systems engineer in a DoD acquisition program office or on a Service or OSD-level staff project
  • Experience with evaluating and managing programmatic risk, including cost, schedule and performance, for a DoD weapons system
  • Experience with conducting portfolio management across federal acquisition programs
  • Experience with applying advanced analytic techniques to evaluate programmatic risks
  • Experience as an action officer on the Joint Staff or OSD- or Service-level staff
  • TS/SCI clearance 
  • BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • MA or MS degree in Engineering or a relevant field
