UX Designer, Mid

Key Role:

Research, design, and prototype the look and feel of both digital and non-digital products. Make products intuitive, easy to use, and aesthetically pleasing for the user. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide the activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a web designer or developer

  • Experience in working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, cross-browser compatibility issues, and responsive design

  • Experience in working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and the Microsoft Office suite

  • Ability to display a portfolio showcasing design and development competencies

  • Ability to gather raw data from various sources and develop comprehensive and visually engaging designs

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with using web development libraries, including jQuery and Bootstrap

  • Experience in working with content management systems, including Joomla!, WordPress, and SharePoint

  • Experience in working with UX and user-centered design

  • Knowledge of information architecture, workflow design, information management, and governance for site usability

  • Knowledge of evolving Web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3

  • Ability to multitask across projects and clients
