Military Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Assist the Air Force (AF) client with functional management of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) units including signals intelligence (SIGINT), Cyber ISR, Unit Level Intelligence, All-Source Analysis, DCGS, targeting, and AOC ISRD. Maintain responsibility for strategic planning, analysis of policy development, force management, unit and personnel tasking, training and qualification, readiness reporting, equipment procurement and sustainment, and analytic support to resource management. Provide SME support to coordinate policy, guidance, requirements, and tactics with external staff across other DoD agencies, and units as appropriate. Support quarterly management reviews, Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) reviews, staff assistance visits, and site visits. Research and draft proposed responses to congressional, gubernatorial, and other inquiries concerning the clients’ ISR activities.  Develop and prepare background materials, assessments, presentations, and analysis on ground ISR programs. This position will require travel up to 25% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with staffing, task coordination, or unit operations in the IC or military environment

-Experience working with MAJCOM and above level staff

-Knowledge of functional area management and unit readiness requirements, including Status of Resources and Training System (SORTS) and reporting tools, Designed Operational Capability (DOC) statements, training, and deployments readiness tasks

-Ability to manage, coordinate, and articulate issues for action by leadership

-Ability to brief and write for senior leaders

-Ability to work independently, proactively, and as part of a team

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS Degree

  

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Air National Guard ISR enterprise and units

- Experience with two or more of the following areas: SIGINT, Cyber ISR, Unit Level Intelligence, All Source Analysis, DCGS, targeting, AOC ISRD, Air National Guard support to Domestic Operations, and Incident Awareness and Assessment.

-Knowledge of current issues facing all levels of Air Force and Joint service employment of ISR capabilities
