Health Policy Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Work with a team focused on supporting federal healthcare clients in the strategic implementation of healthcare initiatives. Lead and assist with the complex analysis of healthcare policy and health data to drive organizational improvements in business processes, program operations, strategic planning, policy effectiveness, and decision-making. Lead defined project work streams and apply knowledge of commonly used healthcare concepts, practices, and procedures. Review and analyze federal regulations and healthcare trends to provide strategic recommendations to maintain operational compliance with governmental regulations. Serve as a practitioner with more than one area of expertise in the management consulting pillars and other functional communities. Support business development objectives by contributing to proposals and marketing efforts. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working with health policy or health data

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Knowledge of health systems, health policy, and general policy and process development

  • Ability to be a self-starter, function independently, and work with ambiguity

  • Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with managing teams to develop recommendations to healthcare clients

  • Experience with conducting business development and captures activities in healthcare-related fields

  • Possession of excellent analytical skills

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Master's degree

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 70,000 to 85,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
