Key Role:
Work as part of a research and development team to implement and analyze next generation telecommunication technologies. Maintain responsibility for designing, validating, and implementing solutions and network configurations to support a team of researchers and developers conducting advanced security research. Apply telecommunication expertise to assist with shaping and leading focused research efforts to tackle complex problems.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with designing, implementing, or managing 2G, 3G, and 4G core networks
-Experience with the OpenStack framework
-Experience with software defined networks (SDN)
-Experience with network function virtualization (NFV)
-Knowledge of 5G core network specifications, solutions, and operations
-Knowledge of Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) implementation and usage
-Knowledge of 3GPP standards, network protocols, procedures, implementation, and call flows
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree or 4+ years of experience with telecommunications in lieu of degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with telecommunications security operations
-Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes
-Experience with deploying IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS
-Experience with scripting languages, including Python, Perl, Bash, or Ruby
-Experience with Cloud infrastructure, including Compute, Network, Storage, and Backup
-Knowledge of API design and Object-Oriented principles
-Ability to build complex Cloud-based solutions
