Commercial Solutions Classified Systems Administrator, Mid

The Challenge:

We’re looking for a systems administrator who can design, test, and deploy architectures, including VMware ESXi infrastructures and apply experience with the Windows domains and Linux servers. You’ll enjoy working on the develop and design documentation and conduct technical information system security testing for appropriate security risk management processes using security assessment and technical testing efforts to help us identify and patch vulnerabilities to the systems being developed.

As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll install, configure, and troubleshoot applications running on Windows and Linux server operating systems. You'll demonstrate comprehension of the fundamentals of data center design best practices, rackmount equipment installation and maintenance, cable management, network attached storage, direct attached storage, and storage protocols, including NFS and iSCSI. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like applying comprehension of security standards to ensure compliance with security requirements. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs.

You Have:

-5+ years of experience with Windows server, Linux, VMware, Windows 10, Hyper-V, or PKI

-Experience with STIGing and using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Security+ CE Certification

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with creating Visio diagrams of network environments

-Experience with troubleshooting tools, including PuTTY and Wireshark

-Experience with obtaining quotes from vendors

-Experience with presenting technical artifacts to clients

-Top Secret clearance a plus
