Cyber Data Architect, Lead

The Challenge:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture, but you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber engineering and data science skills to lead the design and building of secure systems for the DoD? We’re looking for a cyber AI architect who can create solutions for the DoD that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats, driving innovative capabilities into a complex market.

As a cyber AI architect, you’ll design novel implementations of machine learning solutions in the cyber domain, enhance defensive cyber operations with advanced analytics, lead and develop a growing business, and work directly with senior stakeholder to shape a strategic vision inside and outside the firm. You’ll coordinate work our technical delivery team and business leads to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. This is a chance to lead a team of experts to make a difference in the security for warfighter operations. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to use cybersecurity and AI/ML solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You Have:

-5 years of experience with bringing advanced analytic solutions to bear for cyber operations

-Experience with developing and engineering cybersecurity solutions with a focus on applied data science or machine learning

-Experience with designing a technical solution and leading a team in the implementation of the technical design

-Experience with designing multi-year strategic visions for capability growth and enhanced operational impact

-Experience with briefing senior leaders and working with stakeholders to drive broad visions at a tactical level

-Experience with managing and leading multi-disciplinary teams in both the advanced analytics and cybersecurity domains

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience as an R, Java, Scala, or Python developer

-Experience with big data processing technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and GPU frameworks

-Experience with architecting and designing novel analytic methods and cutting-edge machine learning methodologies

-Experience with developing and engineering data workflows to merge disparate data sources

-Experience with modern open-source data engineering technologies to deploy solutions at scale, including Apache Kafka or Apache NiFi

-Experience with modern cloud architectures and systems, such as AWS and Azure

-Experience working with DevSecOps methods and core capabilities, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Prometheus

-Experience with SIEM technologies, including Spark or ElasticSearch

-Experience with public speaking and executive-level briefing

-Ability to leverage a wide variety of data science capabilities and languages, analyze and resolve critical data issues using various methodologies, and ensure data integrity

-Ability to oversee and optimize business opportunities aligned to strategic objectives

-Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
