IT Infrastructure Design Engineer, Mid

Key Role:
Provide subject matter expertise in enterprise IT design based on multi-vendor infrastructure. Work with a team of engineers to analyze, design, troubleshoot, test, and deploy solutions based on customer requirements and requests. Research and meet with vendors to understand their latest products and capabilities. Conduct vendor assessments based on client requirements.  Provide test plans, evaluate vendor products within a test-lab environment, and create test reports on results. Provide implementation plans for rolling out tested products and services in to production. Evaluate problems related to tested products and services implemented in production and develop appropriate corrective action as needed. 

Basic Qualifications:
•    3+ years of experience with enterprise IT networks
•    Experience with evaluating vendor products in a lab environment
•    Experience with designing IT solutions and developing implementation plans
•    Knowledge of Cisco UC services, Call Manager, Unity Connection, IM and Presence
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory services

•    Secret clearance 
•    BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
•    Experience with routing, switching and firewall vendors
•    Experience with IP networking design and architecture
•    Experience with DoD networks 
•    Knowledge of Unimax 2nd nature and HelpOne applications
•    Knowledge of Ansible and network-automation solutions
•    Top Secret clearance

•    Cisco CCNA Certification
