Information System Security Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities for DoD systems deployed in government environments. Apply knowledge and skills to learn system architecture, understand hosting and authorizing official cybersecurity requirements, and implement security controls. Liaise between clients, use case teams, and privacy leads to identify new information types and understand future privacy requirements. Prepare for and facilitate key assessment and authorization (A&A) meetings, including system categorization and production account technical exchange meetings. Coordinate across the team to develop System Security Plan (SSP), analyze milestones for and satisfy any Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) technical implementation and remediation efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Information System Security Analyst or Information System Security Officer (ISSO)
  • Knowledge of HBSS, ACAS, and DoD monitoring tools
  • Ability to support RMF for DoD systems
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • IAM Level I Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
