Linux Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Develop and implement solutions on the Linux platform in alignment with security strategy. Maintain an awareness of market and technology trends in order to bring best of breed solutions to the client. Apply specific functional knowledge and working/general industry knowledge. May develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise Linux servers and hardening Linux servers
  • Experience configuring servers and applications to work with PKI
  • Experience with PKI products and technologies
  • Experience with the DoD PKI program or other large-scale PKI implementations
  • Experience with the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol
  • Secret clearance
  • HS degree or GED
  • IAM Level certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Certificate System or Directory Service
  • Experience with software development
  • Experience with systems engineering and integration
  • BA or BS degree preferred
  • Red Hat Certified Administrator (RHCA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
