Network Engineer, Mid

The Challenge:

As a network engineer on our team, you’ll help the client to design and build a reliable network to support critical missions. You’ll work with SMEs to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with network engineering

  • ​Knowledge of routing protocols, including one of the following network technologies BGP, OSPF, RIP, MPLS, VRF, VLAN, IP Multicast, IP QoS, or IPSec

  • Knowledge of leveraging tools to analyze network traffic and troubleshoot network-related performance issues

  • Knowledge of designing, analyzing, configuring, implementing, or troubleshooting complex network architectures

  • Ability to record and document drawing network topologies

  • Ability to comprehend and create technical writing documents

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Cisco and Juniper platforms

  • Experience with firewall platforms, including ASA or Palo Alto

  • Experience with cloud network deployments, including AWS or Azure

  • Knowledge of existing DoD network services or network implementations

  • Knowledge of DoD satellite communications architectures

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree
