Key Role:

Work as a part of a research and development team to implement and analyze next generation telecommunications technologies. Maintain responsibility for deploying, installing, maintaining, and monitoring solutions and network configurations to support a team of researchers and developers conducting advanced security research. Provide virtualization and network design expertise to aid in shaping and leading focused research efforts to tackle complex problems. 

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Linux, including Red Hat/CentOS, SuSE, Solaris, or Ubuntu, and the OpenStack framework 

-Experience with scripting languages, including Python, Perl, Bash, or Ruby 

-Experience with virtualization solutions, including VMware, KVM, or AWS

-Knowledge of architecting scalable virtual solutions 

-Knowledge of software defined networking (SDN) and concepts 

-Ability to obtain a security clearance 

-BA or BS degree or 2 years of experience with networking in lieu of degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes 

-Experience with software defined networks (SDN) or network function virtualization (NFV) 

-Experience with deploying IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS 

-Experience with telecommunications networks and components 

-Knowledge of 3GPP standards, network protocols, procedures, implementation, and call flows 

-Ability to build complex cloud-based solutions
