Project Control Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for relatively large or complex programs, organizations, or proposals. Anticipate and respond to customer needs, serve as a primary point of contact for customers, as needed, and recommend and develop techniques for estimating parameters for proposals within Booz Allen Hamilton. Prepare budgets for the firm, authorize budget expenditures, as needed, and provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed. Perform detailed financial and program control activities, including budgeting, reporting, estimating, and analysis for large and complex programs, organizations, and proposals for full contract life cycle support. Participate in budget preparation, monitor expenses within Booz Allen, perform cost and schedule variance analysis, and provide resulting recommendations. Prepare the cost-to-complete, including supporting estimates and contract deliverables, respond to contract and program data calls, and participate in contract terms and conditions and statement of work reviews. Prepare detailed financial program management reviews and provide status of key performance metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in a financial management or financial program control environment

-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including macros and advanced formulas and their use in a financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environment

-Ability to accomplish financial forecasts based on bottoms-up analysis and historical trends

-Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives

-Ability to think analytically and conduct trend analysis

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree in Business or Finance

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with financial modeling, including funding analyses and cost and revenue projections

-Experience with proposal support, including responding to RFPs and supporting cost volume development for competitive procurements preferred

-Ability to identify program risks and assist with associated mitigation plans and identifying and prioritizing requirements

-Ability to collect and analyze data from multiple sources, summarize it appropriately, and read and interpret contractual requirements

-Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
