Public Health Strategy, Policy, and Operations Consultant

Key Role:

Consult on the analysis of performance, procedures, and processes of health systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness and address priority challenges. Apply specific functional knowledge, working knowledge, and general industry knowledge of operational environments across the provider, payer, research, and public health segments. Consult on the delivery of clinical and operational solutions and ongoing performance management to help achieve operational excellence, quality, and safety. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with applying clinical expertise to health care operations and program solutions

  • Experience working in clinical settings

  • Experience with business development activities, including capture research and proposal support

  • Knowledge of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) programs, including CMMI Alternative Payment Models

  • Ability to research independently and present findings to internal and external audiences

  • Ability to work in a team-based or project environment

  • Ability to lead projects or tasks

  • Master’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working with CMS

  • Possession of excellent analytical skills

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Clinical degree including RN

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $63,400 - $130,800 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $66,900 - $157,000 (annualized USD)
