Biomedical Consultant, Mid

The Challenge:

As a biomedical consultant, your knowledge is key when it comes to working with clients to identify problems, generate solutions, and communicate results. We’re looking for a biomedical consultant with strong knowledge in biological or biochemical research to drive the strategic growth and assessment of novel scientific discoveries and emerging technologies. Work with world-class scientists in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment to drive forward research efforts and serve as a technical expert, leveraging expertise across multiple areas, including molecular biology, synthetic biology, biochemistry, genetics, and biomedical data analysis, with a particular focus on the innovative applications of biological principles and properties. Provide strategic assessments of novel scientific discoveries and emerging technologies in support of an organization’s goals. Develop consulting skills and expertise to deliver high-quality work products to support technical initiatives.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with research in molecular biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, or genetics, including research as a graduate student
  • 3+ years of experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to explain and present complex scientific concepts to a broad audience, including communication of in-depth technical ideas and solutions to a variety of audiences via presentations and reports
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • PhD degree in Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Molecular Biophysics, Bioengineering, Neuroscience, or Genetics

Nice if You Have:

  • Experience in developing strategic material and messaging for senior leadership
  • Experience in scientific writing, including the possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in working with government agencies
  • Experience with science and technology policies
  • Ability to show multiple first-author contributions to peer-reviewed papers or patents
