Cerner Revenue Cycle Registration Project Manager, Mid

Key Role:

Provide project management support in the areas of workflow, design, and process to drive positive end user experience as the DoD implements the Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) enterprise-wide. Support SMEs in consultation with DoD medical policymakers to facilitate proactive support efforts across solutions. Manage implementation activities in the SME’s domain and coordinate with clients and vendors to identify and resolve domain-level architecture issues. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of multiple projects. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of the project and work with functional users, including senior leadership levels within the Military Health System (MHS). Comprehend problems, bring clarity to ambiguous situations, and work across Cerner teams and MHS Revenue Cycle departments to create client satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience the healthcare field

-Experience with EHRs

-Ability to interface with clients of all levels

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Cerner Millennium

-Experience in supporting implementation activities, including coordinating with clinical and administrative staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues

-Experience with the DoD, including an inpatient medical treatment facility a plus

-Knowledge of registration of patients in EHRs and use of worklists

-Knowledge of the impact of registration on downstream processes

-Knowledge of eligibility reporting systems, including the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and interfacing with EHRs

-PMP Certification
