Cloud Security Architect

Key Role:
Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information system assets and protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes necessary to comply with information assurance (IA) and security requirements. Interface with the user community to comprehend their security needs and implement procedures to accommodate them. Ensure the user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security, domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures. Conduct an accurate evaluation of an environment’s security posture to obtain an ATO. Support the governance, reporting, and reduction of information security risks through the implementation of programs to address Cybersecurity risk management. Support contractual and governance requirements.


Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity role

-1+ years of experience with the DoD RMF accreditation processes

-Experience with implementing and maintaining security controls across server-based environments

-Experience with managing, interpreting, and using vulnerability scanning tools.

-Ability to work through challenging security requirements and maintain compliance

-Ability to develop technical documentation to support accreditation efforts

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree

-Security+ Certification

 

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, NIST 800-53 and 800-37, HBSS, ACAS, AWS, and eMASS

-Knowledge of information security, including systems and network security

-Knowledge of Windows servers, including Active Directory and GPO

-Knowledge of the Cybersecurity risk management process

-Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance strategies and tools

-Possession of excellent organizational and technical writing skills


Clearance:
