Defense Forensics and Biometrics Requirements Analyst

Key Role:
Perform a governance task which establishes a strategic direction for DoD forensics and biometrics, including analyzing the management and execution of a strategic planning process and the development, coordination, and facilitation of governance processes and solutions supporting the DoD. Advise the client’s governance lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Apply analytical techniques that recommend solutions to help the client manage, maintain, and optimize the enterprise and achieve its short- and long-term objectives. Analyze the development, maintenance, and management of an identity activities governance structure consisting of groups to be used as primary mechanisms through which the DoD informs, coordinates, and provides policy and executive agency oversight of identity-related efforts for the implementation of materiel and non-materiel solutions or initiatives to support current and future operations capability development and requirements. Coordinate governance with strategic planning and communications functions and facilitate and maintain the validation of organization and enterprise goals, strategies, and near-, mid-, and long-term objectives, as directed. Facilitate workshops, decision meetings, collaborative sessions, and executive briefings related to forensics and biometrics topics. Manage the delivery of high quality work products, including the development and maintenance of project schedules, reports, and resources.

Basic Qualifications: 
-3+ years of experience with strategic planning, including developing and reviewing organizational strategies and implementation plans
-3+ years of experience with DoD processes and procedures at a Service, Joint, or Combatant Command organization
-3 years of experience in a project leadership role as a task or project lead
-Ability to readily access, aggregate, and translate data into information to gain valuable insights that drive informed decision making
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with working in agile environments a plus
-Knowledge of DoD forensics and biometrics 
-Knowledge of the development and review of JCIDS documents and processes
-Ability to work in a team environment and independently on assigned tasks
-Possession of excellent documentation, analytical, interfacing, and presentation skills
