Defense Research Analyst

Key Role:

Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex or highly sensitive Air Force systems, policies, processes, and organizations related to foreign threats, military strategies, and capabilities. Analyze the procedure for solving complex design, integration and analytical problems. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding the design and integration of evolving systems, policies, and processes. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodologies and results.

Basic Qualifications:

-20 years of experience with Air Force systems, policies, processes, and organizations

-Knowledge of Air Force missions and capabilities

-Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree
 

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with serving on an Air Force or Major Command Headquarters Staff

-Ability to work independently

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
