Development and Operations Engineer

Key Role:

Assist with building and deploying custom applications and workflows that combine Microsoft and Office 365 tools, automation, and Cloud resources to automate and improve business processes that provide and support dedicated communication support, decision support, and situational awareness services to senior DoD leaders and their immediate offices. Leverage product ownership methodologies, Agile development methodologies, and UX design concepts while building applications on a low-code or no-code platform. Coordinate with client-facing change managers and other junior DevOps engineers to code, test, and deploy multiple applications with a common SharePoint / Common Data Services (CDS) backend. Combine applications with SharePoint knowledge management systems to form an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with working on teams using Lean UX, Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint front-end development and automation
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
  • Experience in working with product owners, analysts, testers, and developers to develop user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to perform in a high-paced work environment with multiple competing priorities and improve processes
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Agile or DevOps certifications, including ICAgile
