Host Based Security Systems Engineer, Mid

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design Host Based Security Systems (HBSS) in support of an executive DoD client. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize HBSS policies for network endpoints through the systems life cycle, test, implementation, and maintenance, as well as configure and maintain HBSS servers and dependent systems. You’ll develop your skills in integration and implementation of large and enterprise scale data communications network infrastructures, while gaining experience in DoD executive communications. Grow your skills by merging systems engineering and security to establish and implement standards for HBSS between hardware and software, according to client specifications and parameters. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with systems engineering or system administration 
  • Experience with configuring and maintaining multiple network baselines
  • Experience with standard HBSS modules, including McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), McAfee Agent (MA), Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Policy Auditor (PA), VirusScan Enterprise (VSE), Rogue System Detection (RSD), Asset Baseline Monitor (ABM), or Asset Configuration Compliance Module (ACCM) 
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 11 years of experience with IT systems
  • IAT 2 Workforce 8570 Certification, including Security+

Nice If You Have:

  • BS degree in CS, Engineering, or a related technical preferred; MS degree in CS, Engineering, or a related technical field a plus

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
