Enterprise Architect, Senior

Key Role:

Develop enterprise architectural models to provide transparency to the Army client's portfolio, identify unplanned, unnecessary, and duplicative redundancy, and improve enterprise-wide understanding of the IT system of systems infrastructure. Provide holistic architectural insight into ISR modernization and integration planning, and architectural review and adherence with established IC and DoD standards. Coordinate with stakeholders to develop purpose-built AS-IS and target state architectures that address specific needs that align with strategic milestones, ensuring stakeholder and leadership buy-in. Apply superior consulting skills and translate high-level guidance into tangible deliverables. Work independently with minimal direction and within a group, provide peer reviews and mentorship when asked, and support system and application rationalization modernization efforts. Perform research independently via industry and IC or DoD search engines to mature artifacts, and work with multiple stakeholders with different perspectives. Work with key stakeholders and other consultants to document and provide an understanding of complex IT ecosystems and implement transformative processes and architecture. Provide critical data to support transformative decision-making.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with design and implementation of enterprise architectures on large scale projects
  • 5+ years of experience as an enterprise architect practitioner, applying methodologies, standards, and modeling techniques on DoDAF and UAF frameworks
  • Experience in the IC
  • Experience with hands-on creation of DoDAF or UAF Operational Systems and data flow diagramming
  • Experience creating DoDAF products using a modeling tool, including UNICOM System Architect, Cameo No Magic Systems Modeler, Magic Draw, or Sparx Enterprise Architect
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience providing architectural delivery to a Chief Information Officer, Chief Architect, or SES
  • Experience with an IT modernization or digital transformation initiative
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent client-facing and consulting skills
  • Master's degree in Technology
  • DoDAF or UAF Enterprise Practitioner CEA Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
