The Opportunity:

As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. 

On our team, supporting the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the leadership team. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft Excel and regular interactions with agency leadership, technical support staff, and the administrative team.

You Have:

  • Experience as the primary point of contact for senior and executive-level government staff, including tracking and scheduling short-term and long-term meetings and engagements
  • Experience working with senior or executive leadership, including SES-level 
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail for executive management to be prepared for day specific meetings and longer-range tasks and plans, and administrative processes and procedures such as IT updates, agency coordination, and pop-up issues that may arise
  • Ability to anticipate client’s needs on a day-to-day basis and provide real time support when unexpected issues and challenges arise
  • Ability to work closely with colleagues to manage invitations and higher-level engagements for agency leadership, ensuring they have received the necessary materials to prepare for all upcoming engagements
  • Ability to maintain harmony while coordinating situational changes to team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment 
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance 
  • Associate’s degree 

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with the DoD, Services, or Federal Government
  • Experience with scientific leaders or technical advisors
  • Ability to work on and track multiple projects and taskings while prioritizing the most urgent or important work, including Office 365 tools or software and project management tools
  • Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Possession of strong prioritization and time management skills 
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
