Experiment Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as a part of the Booz Allen Team that supports the development of military concepts and capabilities for multiple combatant commands and coalition clients. Leverage expertise in the development of methodologies and implement comprehensive plans to collect and analyze data during command post-exercise-like experiments. Focus experiments on the military utility of potential future concepts, concepts of operation, and capabilities.  Analyze the development of data source matrixes, data collection plans, data reduction, and analysis. Apply advanced understanding of the design and execution of strategic and operational level wargames and experiments for a range of participants from senior military leaders to action officers. Implement the design, execution, and delivery of analytic tasks associated with wargames, experiments, simulations, and tabletop exercises, including the shaping of objectives, crafting of wargaming constructs, authoring of scenarios, facilitating participant discussions, and authoring after-action reports and briefings. Work on unusually complicated problems and provide highly creative solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in Military Experimentation or Wargaming with an emphasis on qualitative analysis or behavioral analysis
  • Experience with developing measures of effectiveness and measures of merit, reducing data, analyzing data, and reporting the findings as they relate to experiment issues
  • Experience with developing methodologies and implementing comprehensive plans to collect and analyze data during command post-exercise-like experiments focused at the Operational Level of War
  • Ability to assist and mentor the lead government analyst directly and assist with supervising the documenting of insights and findings related to experimentation results in support of a final report
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Operational Level Headquarter or higher preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project   
  • Ability to interpret the intent of a client’s needs effectively and help to shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery
