F-35 Communication, Navigation & Identification (CNI) Engineer

Key Role:

Support F-35 Mission Systems team in design, development, test and production of integrated avionics modernization activity. Analyze avionics specifications and performance requirements to evaluate and assess CNI design and development progress, test results and productionized on-aircraft capability. Participate in agile development of new capabilities and systems engineering and technical reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in an aviation systems or avionics engineering position
  • 4+ years of experience in acquisition program support applicable to avionics systems, including CNI, Radar, or Electronic Warfare
  • 4+ years of experience in support of DoD classified programs and DoD ACAT-II or larger acquisition program
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, requirements development, and technology transition or insertion planning
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in requirements management and tracking
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, EE, or related technical degree
