F-35 Depot Planning Analyst

Key Role:

Support defense acquisition and sustainment commands with life cycle logistics planning and execution. Perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of F-35 threat systems supportability and maintainability programs. Conduct detailed analyses to support planning, stand up, and activation of F-35 depot maintenance capacity. Perform research, analyze options, and provides input to US Government, international partner and foreign military sales requirements for Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Upgrade (MRO&U) planning to include required facilities, equipment, parts, materials, processes, technologies, training, and manpower to perform depot-level maintenance for F-35 propulsion systems. Facilitate execution of joint depot workload assignment strategy to deliver "best value" F-35 depot maintenance and support services for the military services, international partners, and FMS customers. Coordinate supply chain issues between F-35 customers and the Joint Program Office to get better business solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in defense life-cycle acquisition logistics related to major aviation threat systems
  • Knowledge of aircraft Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Upgrade (MRO&U) concepts, policies, practices, and processes
  • Knowledge and experience with Air Force and Navy and Marine Corps supply chain management concepts, policies, practices, and processes
  • Knowledge and experience with administering maintenance and supply chain contracts
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in working in an area of Air Force or Navy and Marine Corps Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Upgrade (MRO&U) 
  • Experience with F-35 Program management
