F-35 Modeling and Simulation Analyst

Key Role:

Support development, test and verification of system capabilities utilizing Modeling & Simulation (M&S) tools, techniques and technical management and expertise in support of an F-35 program office. Analyze actual and predictable interacting operational activities of business to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques. Engage with program stakeholder modeling and simulation activities, groups, and forums.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Modeling & Simulation (M&S) role in support of a DoD ACAT II or larger acquisition program
  • Knowledge of DoD M&S standards, practices, and applications, including Verification, Validation, and Accreditation
  • Ability to apply M&S expertise to system development activities in support of contract specifications and program objectives
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in a DoD aviation acquisition program office
  • Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) core concepts, methodologies, and tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • BA or BS degree in Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Probability, Statistics, or a related field
  • Certified Modeling & Simulation Professional (CMSP) certification
