F-35 Production Engineer

Key Role:

Provide production engineering support for the full lifecycle of projects in the DoD acquisition program to meet requirements and program objectives. Demonstrate expertise in manufacturing processes, including flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules. Review production schedules and confer with government clients to determine material delivery sequences, job order priorities, and anticipated availability of material. Make recommendations for in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules, work with the government client to provide suggestions for repair and assembly of material and its transportation to various departments, examine material delivered to production departments to verify if type specified is required or overdue and to locate material, requisitions material, and establish it for departments accordingly. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work independently with minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience with aircraft systems production or manufacturing
  • Experience with aircraft and system avionics
  • Active Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in a DoD ACAT II or larger acquisition program office
  • Experience with aircraft subsystems development, testing, production, and operational use

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
