FMS Sustainment Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Provide subject matter expertise and integration analysis for the implementation and deployment of the F-35 Logistics and Sustainment. Provide logistics expertise supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, and programs. Conduct logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses and provide recommendations for tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics element requirements in support of aircraft, weapon systems, training, and programs. Provide recommendations for changes to site support, including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, support equipment, training and training devices, technical data packaging, handling, storage and transportation, and facilities. Provide recommendations for the development of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Management Plans. Provide recommendations for the review and development of Maintenance Plans (MP) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) records, maintenance tasks, and Level of Repair (LOR) Analysis recommendations. This position requires travel up to 50% of the time to CONUS and OCONUS locations. This position is open to temporary remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Department of Defense projects involving foreign nations

  • Experience with international agreements and projects

  • Experience in acquisition logistics

  • Knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, and deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment

  • Knowledge of the system equipment life cycle phases

  • Knowledge of federal laws and Department of Defense regulations dealing with acquisition, logistics, and foreign military sales

  • Ability to interpret complex numerical and written data to determine analysis

  • Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working with foreign counterparts

  • Knowledge of Japanese subject matter

  • Knowledge of Security Assistance (SA) and Security Cooperation (SC) programs, including the FMS sales process, such as case development, implementation, execution, and closure

  • Knowledge of logistics and site activation process

  • Ability to prepare and present convincing oral and written presentations to any or all levels of government and industry management to effectively prove and justify significant deviations from established sustainment policy and defend necessary modifications to previously approved plans

  • Possession of excellent diplomatic skills

  • BA or BS degree in business, logistics, management, or finance

Clearance:
