Financial Data Analyst, Mid

Key Role:
Perform data analysis to support Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) efforts to meet the Congressionally mandated deadline to achieve fully auditable financial statements. Manipulate and analyze large data sets to produce accurate reports. Perform data analysis on financial audit information to support regular reporting requirements. Conduct ad-hoc analysis and point-in-time reporting. Assess data integrity and accuracy.  Liaise with client stakeholders and subject matter professionals. This position is located in Crystal City, VA.

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with data analysis
-Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and vlookups
-Experience with data visualization tools, including Qlik or Tableau
-Experience accounting, auditing, or financial management
-Experience in direct interaction with clients
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
-Experience with developing executive-level briefings

-Ability to collect, analyze, and report on large data sets
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with financial audits
-Knowledge of DoD financial management practices or business processes preferred
-Ability to excel in a culture with a high degree of ambiguity

-Possession of excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

-CPA License, CISA or PMP, CDFM, CIA, or CGFM Certification preferred
