Force Deployment Plans and Mobilization Analyst

As a Defense Mission Professional, you’ll bring your military, academic, and professional background to work on projects for U.S. Department of Defense clients. You’ll research, analyze, assess, and provide recommend recommendations to the client's most challenging mobilization and deployment challenges. You’ll help identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies processes, and directives with impact across the service headquarters and operating forces.

You’ll impact the work we do for a Headquarters Marine Corps and the solutions we deliver for defense mission planning.

You Have:  

  • Experience in working with the Department of Defense, Joint, or a Service Headquarters organization
  • Experience with working to achieve enterprise process improvement in a large headquarters organization
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, gather technical feedback, and integrate recommendations into proposed solutions
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Security Studies, or Business Administration

Nice If You Have:  

  • 2+ years of experience with conducting strategic-level planning for the Marine Corps, or a Joint or Service organization
  • Experience with Department of Defense Force Deployment Planning & Execution (FDP&E), Joint Operations Planning Execution System (JOPES), Joint Planning and Execution Community (JPEC), or Global Force Management (GFM)
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps organization, capabilities, and employment
  • Knowledge of military reserve mobilization policies and procedures
  • Possession of strong research, writing, document editing, and communication skills
  • Possession of strong understanding of organizational policy, processes, and planning directives
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's Degree from a DOD university or in International Relations, Security Studies, or Business Administration
