Full Stack Software Engineer, Mid

This role is more than just coding. As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
3+ years of experience with designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods
Experience with Python development
Experience with professional development using AWS serverless architecture
Experience with Analytics, including file, network, or host-based
Experience with acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
Experience with working in a collaborative team environment
Knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements
Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience with embedded programming and scripting languages, including Java, JavaScript, C, or C++
Experience with Intrusion Detection, Information Sharing, Intrusion Prevention, or Core Infrastructure
Experience with shell scripting using Bash or PowerShell
Experience with network monitoring tools, including Wireshark, tcpdump, Zeek, SiLK, or YAF
Experience with Linux operating system
Experience with analyzing databases, source code, hosts, middleware, application, Local Area Network (LAN), and Internet networks across Open System Interconnect (OSI) model
Experience with developing real- or near real-time automation
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
AWS Certification, including Developer, DevOps, or Application Architect
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
