Information Strategy Analyst

The Opportunity:

When our country’s cyber security is on the line, simply reacting is not enough — we need a plan. And when that plan needs to protect and develop Information capabilities across the Marine Corps, we need strategic policy development. That’s why we need you, an information capability specialist with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a cyber strategic planning and policy development consultant on our team, you’ll lead the assessment of our client’s cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risk. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work in a consultative role to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and leverage in-depth knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps information policy and capabilities. 
  • Develop innovative service offerings by applying a mix of strategic and technical knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps network environments, information and cyber operations, up-to-date technologies, and Marine Corps force requirements. 
  • Work individually, as a team member, and as a team leader in the analysis and recommendations of technology solutions.
  • Build out a network of Government and Industry points of contact to explore new partnerships.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with Navy or Marine Corps (N/MC) communications, network operations, cybersecurity, or information warfare programs
  • Experience working with senior-level decision-makers in the DoD, Department of the Navy, and individual Armed Services
  • Knowledge of relationships between Government and Industry
  • Knowledge of HQMC-level organizations, DoD and DoN policies, and the relationships between primary N/MC operations, engineering, and acquisition organizations
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working as a project manager and leading programs involving IW or Cyber operations, network management, or technology services
  • Ability to work with and report to senior military leadership
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • PMP and IAM II Certification, including CISM or CISSP Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
