Joint Fires Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:

Serve as part of the Booz Allen team supporting the Future Joint Force development in developing military concepts and capabilities for multiple combatant command and coalition clients. Research, develop, and assist with writing the Joint Concept for Global Fires (JCGF) as part of a future oriented Family of Joint Concepts (FOJC), including Capstone Concept for Joint Operations (CCJO), a Joint warfighting concept, threat based Joint operating concepts, Joint supporting concepts for the warfighting functions, and threat-based concepts of operation. Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex and highly sensitive systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation related to foreign threats and homeland security. Determine procedure for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems. Perform or direct scientific and technical intelligence analysis. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodology and results.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of experience with military operations as a Military Officer
  • Experience in developing and executing all-domain fires support coordination (FSC)
  • Experience with developing and integrating Joint fires at the combatant command (CCMD) level, both inside and outside the area of responsibility
  • Knowledge in both lethal and non-lethal fires
  • TS/SCI clearance required
  • MA or MS degree in Political Science, International Affairs, Military Studies, National Security Strategy, or History

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with military deployments of an extended nature in the military occupational field of Fires at Joint Task Force level
  • Experience in command and control (C2) of fires networks
  • Experience with the functions of Cyber, space, and EMS
  • Experience with Globally Integrated Operations in the information environment
  • Experience with Joint Force influence operations in a cognitive environment
  • Experience in all aspects of targeting and executing targeting boards
  • Attendance of a Service War College preferred
