Logistics Capability Planner

Key Role:

Serve as part of a team that supports Future Joint Force Development in developing military capabilities for multiple combatant command and coalition clients. Identify, develop, and evaluate complex or highly sensitive future Joint Force capabilities, methods, procedures, and processes. Manage Operational Process Team activities to develop and refine Logistics and Command and Control requirements, including scheduling, agendas, facilitation, presentations, and minutes. Assess study summaries relating to Contested Logistics and develop reports and formal briefings. Formulate complex future requirements working closely with Higher Headquarters and subordinate Capability Developers, in support of specific programs and projects.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with military operations

-5+ years of experience with operational-level logistics

-Experience with logistics processes and policies, including supply, sustainment, or mobility

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience at Operational Level Headquarter or higher preferred

-Knowledge of Logistics in a Contested Environment

-Knowledge of the Functional Capabilities Board (FCB) process

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Teams

-Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and comprehend the impact on future military requirements

-Ability to interpret the intent of a client’s needs effectively and help to shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities

-Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-TS/SCI clearance
