Logistics Planning Analyst, Lead

Key Role:

Develop, implement, and manage supply chain streams and solutions. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Perform tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of F-35 weapon systems supportability and maintainability programs. Work on logistics and maintainability programs with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues, including technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems depot maintenance requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and, ILS/R&M program management analysis. Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. Develop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with defense lifecycle acquisition logistics for major aviation defense systems

  • Knowledge of aviation logistics principles, practices, and processes

  • Ability to plan and orchestrate major logistics and aircraft weapons system sustainment programs at the enterprise level

  • Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with F-35 weapon systems

  • MA or MS degree
